The apostle Paul said in Galatians 1:15-17, "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia".
It is clear in this piece of scripture that God revealed his Son, Jesus Christ, in Paul. It is also clear that when God did that deep work in Paul he didn't ask any man for his opinion or input about it. He immediately went to Arabia. (Arabia signifies a very dry place).
There are times when you have an experience with the Lord and you know that it is okay to talk to others about it. In fact, there are cases where Jesus commanded ones to "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you". (Mark 5:19) There are other times when He commanded ones to "See thou tell no man". (Matthew 8:4a)
If you are still before Him and listening for His voice you will know if it's okay to talk to others, or if it's one of those times that it's just between you and God.
I find it wonderfully exciting to know that "there is a time for every season under heaven"!
